Children's National Specialists Named Top Doctors by Northern Virginia Magazine
Washington, DC – Northern Virginia Magazine has named more than 45 Children’s National Health System physicians to their list of 2015 “Top Doctors.” The leading pediatric physicians included in this elite list represent many specialties within Children’s National including Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, Endocrinology, Hematology/Oncology, Neonatology, Otolaryngology, Urology, and Surgery.
“I’m proud to see so many of our pediatric specialists recognized for their outstanding work and excellence,” said Kurt Newman, MD, President and CEO of Children’s National. “This affirms the high level of expertise that our physicians offer and the commitment Children’s National has to providing the best care to children and families in the region.”
The magazine used a peer survey and hospital panels, including Children’s National, to generate nominations for its Top Doctors listing. Each panel nominated the doctors based on internal evaluations, patient reviews, patient access, training, and quality of records.
